Mac and cheese

“I’m hungry” I thought to myself. In my living room sitting on my couch.I wanted some cheesy mac and cheese to sooth my hunger.I love my mac and cheese. The big problem was no one else was home.I was home alone.I wasn’t very familiar with making mac and cheese.

By myself I ran as fast as I could to the Tallest cabinet in the kitchen to get the cardboard box of mac and cheese.I stood on my tippy toes to get it.I skimmed the box for instructions to make me get rid of this aching hunger.

So,I needed a ¼ of a cup of milk, four tablespoons of butter, and boiled water.I went to the fridge to get the ingredients. So I heated up the noodles .The box said to strain the steaming hot noodles out of the pot,and to get rid of the boiling water. The box said to put the milk, butter, and noodles into the empty, dry pot.But I accidently touched the stove and burned myself,I knew it was going to happen sooner, or later. It hurt so much,it felt like my hand was on fire.

A few minutes later my hand felt so much better I added the ingredients, one by one into the pot.Slowly I stirred them. After a little while my arm started giving out, but I knew it was worth it.”It’s finally done” Happily I screamed.

Relief came over me like a flood. I was finally done.I did a dance all around the kitchen. Also I made it all by myself.I had to tell my family about it.I scooped some nice, creamy, and gooey noodles up into a bowl, and sat on the couch to eat it.My dog came to me and whined and I was like “No it’s all mine”.Mac and cheese never tasted this good.So I learned it’s good to try something’s by yourself sometimes.
